SLN Principals Lead the Way to Better Schools

Since inception, the SLN program model has included an embedded program evaluation process to measure program effectiveness and student impact.

In 2008 Dr. Sam Intrator of the Department of Education and Child Study at Smith College and Megan Scribner conducted a year-end, third-party evaluation, which adapted Guskey’s (2000) approach to evaluating professional development using an array of qualitative and quantitative instruments to understand the impact of SLN programming on principals and their work.
