Real-time Feedback Improves Program Effectiveness

SLN uses a a real-time program assessment system to to continually adapt programming to best meet the needs of leaders. By measuring the effectiveness of each network on a monthly, rather than yearly, basis, SLN proactively addresses issues, make improvements to the networks, and tracks progress in real-time. Just as the educational community is moving towards the use of formative assessments to improve instructional quality, we use this information to create a culture of continuous improvement among our networks.

At the end of every network session, each facilitator and network member fills out a short, online survey. This information is aggregated by network to measure: 

• Principal engagement, assessed in terms of attendance and participation
• Extent to which networks are meeting the program standards
• Facilitator performance and effectiveness
• Level of participant satisfaction
• Results achieved measured against standards set out in our Vision of Success
• Effectiveness of the SLN model
